Slide Show: Vanderbilt Students Join in Protest


Today, hundreds came together outside the offices of Sens. Lamar Alexander (R) and Bob Corker (R) to protest the immigration ban issued by President Trump. Speakers including Mayor Megan Barry (D), Vice Mayor David Briley (D) and State Senator Jeff Yarbro (D) used the back of a pickup truck as a makeshift podium to denounce the President’s order. Vanderbilt students were in attendance.
