Sterling is a senior in the College of Arts and Science, majoring in Chemistry and double-minoring in History and Political Science. A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Sterling developed a passion for studying, discussing, and engaging in American politics and government from a young age. Particular interests include the U.S. Senate, state judiciaries, constitutional law, and foreign policy. In the realm of global politics, he enjoys delving into the politics of Northern Ireland and the history of the Troubles. He hopes for the survival of print newspapers as well as to one day study public policy in graduate school.
