Saadika is a freshman from Columbia, Tennessee majoring in Public Policy and Human and Organizational Development. Growing up, she raised livestock and developed an early interest in how rural communities are shaped by policy and opportunity. She is passionate about issues of socioeconomic equity, education, and representation. At Vanderbilt, she is excited to explore how policy can be used to create more just and inclusive systems. Outside of VPR, she enjoys gardening, discovering new films, and having long conversations about movies with friends.
