Steven Deng is a sophomore from China majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. He is passionate about civil rights, justice, and studying China-U.S. political tension. At Vanderbilt, he is an active member of Justice Through Tech and devotes his time in post-incarceration transitional education at re-entry facilities. Outside of VPR, he enjoys playing piano, music recording, and science fiction movies.
