Alena Dasha Peethala is a first-year student from Portland, Oregon, studying National Security. She is passionate about American politics, with a particular interest in AI governance, national security, and US-China relations. Outside of VPR, Alena interns with the Tennessee Republican Party & is actively involved with the Chancellor’s Scholars Executive Board and the Vanderbilt Institute for National Security Immersion Cohort.
