Amelia is a sophomore from a small town in South Carolina, studying Public Policy Studies and Medicine, Health & Society, with a minor in Legal Studies. Her academic interests center on the intersection of law, health, and government, and she is particularly drawn to examining how public health policy decisions affect individuals and communities. Beyond VPR, Amelia is a member of the Vanderbilt Women’s Swim Team and enjoys reading, watching Scandal, and trying new restaurants.
